Travel along roads carved from steep hillsides by hand in the 1880’s, over canyons, up rivers and beside mountain lakes to discover the history and majestic beauty of these once bristling gold rush areas. Arrowtown Discovery Tour: Come with us on a 4x4 adventure up the Arrow River. Have a go at gold panning, visit Arrowtown’s Lord of the Rings filming locations and be entertained by the local history. Finish with spectacular views from the Crown Range over the Arrow Basin.
